Shito-Ryu is one of the four major karate styles of Japan. It combines the features of the two great traditions of Okinawan and Japanese karate.

What an amazing accomplishment! Congratulations Shihan; we are incredibly lucky to have you lead our organization, and to be a part of the Itosukai family in Canada! Today was a big day for Itosu-Kai Canada. Tsumura Shihan has been awarded his 9th Dan from Sakagami Soke in Japan. Tsumura Shihan is the only person to hold the Shihan title outside of Japan, and is now the first to achieve this extraordinary Itosu-Kai rank outside of Japan. Read more about this here!
